Display’s mission — “The Social That Pays” — puts creators at the heart of the experience. As the platform prepared to grow beyond its initial launch, the challenge was to define a solid design foundation and build a clear, scalable, and engaging experience for a broader audience.

Responsibilities
I was responsible for both strategic and hands-on design work, contributing to the evolution of the brand and the product itself. My key responsibilities included:
Designing the logo and establishing brand guidelines
Creating and maintaining a scalable design system
Designing concept mockups and high-fidelity prototypes
Ensuring visual consistency and aligning with company branding
Collaborating across teams to validate design decisions with data
Our work followed a double-diamond process, combining UX and service design methodology to explore user needs, define opportunities, design solutions, and deliver validated results.

We began the group redesign after completing the feed and profile. The scope focused on core features for the first phase, with future scalability in mind.

As functionality expanded, we moved Marketplace to its own tab with a simplified start screen and clearer categories. Search was improved with suggestions and featured stores.

Outcome
I developed a dynamic design system to enhance consistency and scalability across the application. By conducting comprehensive UX reviews and user interviews, I gathered actionable insights that led to significant improvements. Based on the analysis of user feedback, I implemented changes to the user flow and UI, which resulted in increased user activity and engagement, a higher number of user sessions within the application, and enhanced navigation with more sections visited. Additionally, the effectiveness of native advertising improved due to better user data collection, including the completion of all user information fields during registration and detailed profile completion.
