Polestar is a Swedish premium electric vehicle manufacturer that combines cutting-edge design, performance, and sustainability. Known for its minimalist aesthetic and innovation-driven approach, Polestar pushes boundaries both in automotive design and digital experiences.
What was the objective
I joined Polestar as a UX/UI design consultant to support the development of a new digital feature, Product Guides, within their media resource platform. This tool is aimed at providing journalists and media partners with up-to-date, detailed information about Polestar car models, covering everything from exterior and interior design to technical specifications.

As part of the design team, primary focus was to:
Ensure a smooth, clear user experience tailored to the needs of journalists and media users
Design a visually refined interface that reflects Polestar’s design excellence and aligns with the brand’s digital identity
Collaborate closely with internal designers, product owners, and developers
Work within and contribute to the existing design system and brand guidelines

Key learnings
As my first experience in the automotive industry, it challenged me to quickly understand a new domain with its vocabulary, user expectations, and data structures. I strengthened my skills in:
